Do you know how the homeless walk out in front of you while you're driving down the street?
Do you know how some of them don't even know you were there like they just wanted to die?
Do you know how some of them lear back at you like all the power that they ever had, has been taken away from them?
That walking out in front of you making you stop, is the only power they have left?
Do you know that you could be one of them…, someday?
Do you know how the homeless walk out in front of you while you're driving down the street?

If we were to reallocate a microscopic percentage of funding for the police, military and homeland security, and the like it would only take a fraction of that part of our country's expenses to fully finance a proven system of recovery and anti-recidivism.
In the early 1980s, the United States was experiencing a major recession. The Reagan administration answered that concern in part by cutting federal funding for human resources from $80 billion a year down to $18 billion a year. Those funds have been chipped away at every sense.
If you're wondering why things are the way they are in our own country, then that is only one aspect. Funding is meaningless, unless you have trained and motivated, skilled workers in the fields of health.
Skilled collective, cross-organizational management for our society is what is needed the most.
