Welcome to My Journey: A Ferryman's Farewell
I have been granted enrollment at the University of Galway in Ireland for a Diploma in Irish (Level A2) two year course—a unique opportunity to immerse myself in learning my great-grandfather's language, Gaeilge, as I deepen my ancestral connections to the land and my people.

Through this adventure, I am embracing my heritage while honoring the nature-based teachings that have shaped my understanding of the world, language, and storytelling.

Our Lady Gaia and New Literary Works
My friend Carlyn Flint—a playwright, teacher, and illustrator—collaborated with me to bring Our Lady Gaia to life. This self-published children’s book through Luminare Press Publishing explores our relationship with the earth, infused with respect and love. It was also translated into Spanish, making it a valuable learning tool across cultures and generations.
While in Ireland, I will learn to translate Our Lady Gaia into Irish (Gaeilge). In parallel, I am developing a distilled edition of a lifetime of my best poetry and writings, illustrated by Ukrainian fine artist Vasyl Woodland, who has graciously permitted me to use his work to illustrate my book, Human Being... His Art reflects the deep spiritual ties between the North American indigenous, nature-based traditions and the indigenous practices of the Ukrainian people. I also have a new children’s story called, Coyote Hawk and Grandmother Bear ready to come to life. This narrative continues the themes of wisdom, earth-based spirituality, and intergenerational storytelling that guide my creative journey.
Support My Vision
I am actively researching grants and developing ideas to sustain this journey. Along the way, I will share updates, insights, and reflections through my website and a GoFundMe campaign. Your support will help bring Our Lady Gaia to life in Irish (Gaeilge) and strengthen the cultural bridge between traditions and languages.
